Mardin United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stronghold FC the free kick. After 10 played minutes Mardin United got a freekick which was hit by Abdi Saygın Üner. A collision led to Mardin United getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Hakkı Kenan Sıratullah hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Stronghold FC's Alican Talaz threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hüsmen Doğu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alican Talaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüsmen Doğu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Mustafa Emre Özal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Hüsmen Doğu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alican Talaz. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zikri Reşat in the 33rd minute of play forced Stronghold FC's goalkeeper Boğaç Refi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alican Talaz made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Devran Kocaalp sent off a good shot on target. Alican Talaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsmen Doğu in the 37th minute of the match. Alican Talaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüsmen Doğu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Reha Saltuk's late challenge caught a Mardin United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Reha Saltuk helped the player get up and apologised. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stronghold FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet Necdet Teoman was slow to take the kick. During this time Mardin United's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Mardin United's corner Ahmet Necdet Teoman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Boğaç Refi quite easily take care of the ball. When Devran Kocaalp fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stronghold FC's protests and gave Devran Kocaalp a yellow card for diving instead. Devran Kocaalp kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When Mardin United's Zikri Reşat in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stronghold FC's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hüsmen Doğu made a kick off. If Hüsmen Doğu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Devran Kocaalp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alican Talaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hüsmen Doğu in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alican Talaz saved Mardin United from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsmen Doğu in the 62nd minute of play forced Mardin United's goalkeeper Alican Talaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Stronghold FC's goalkeeper Boğaç Refi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şenol Uğuş. Alican Talaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devran Kocaalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes, Atilla Kağan Sefer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stronghold FC and the Mardin United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Şenol Uğuş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Hüsmen Doğu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alican Talaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zikri Reşat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Devran Kocaalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alican Talaz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mardin United's Hakkı Kenan Sıratullah got a free kick in the 90th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Devran Kocaalp in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alican Talaz saved Mardin United from getting behind. Hüsmen Doğu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stronghold FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mardin United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
