The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Hayri Tayfur to strike the kick off in the second half. If Şinasi Vahap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Görkem Tapgaç fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ayazpoyraz's protests and gave Görkem Tapgaç a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Ayazpoyraz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Görkem Tapgaç to maneuver through the defense. Yaman Sabuncuoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Nihat Sonay in the 82nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 84 minutes, Ahmet Hayri Tayfur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ayazpoyraz and the Karakocan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmet Hayri Tayfur hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Nihat Sonay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
