Yakup Rical made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hayri Tayfur in the 4th minute of play. Görkem Tapgaç hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Yaman Sabuncuoğlu struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Yakup Rical didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayazpoyraz. Uygur Kutsan hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yaman Sabuncuoğlu got free with Yakup Rical in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beşiktaş JK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ahmet Hayri Tayfur 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 17th minute, Orhan Seyfi Oğuzbala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yakup Rical took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykut Hacı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yaman Sabuncuoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakup Rical having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş JK's goalkeeper Yakup Rical had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yaman Sabuncuoğlu. In the 27thth minute of the game Ahmet Hayri Tayfur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beşiktaş JK's Yakup Rical was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yakup Rical made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Yaman Sabuncuoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Ahmet Hayri Tayfur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 33 played minutes Beşiktaş JK got a freekick which was hit by Dündar Nuratay. Yaman Sabuncuoğlu kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 34thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Beşiktaş JK's keeper Yakup Rical was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Dündar Nuratay kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Yaman Sabuncuoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beşiktaş JK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Ahmet Hayri Tayfur scored to the left of an out of position Yakup Rical, making the score, 2-0. If Ahmet Hayri Tayfur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Hayri Tayfur was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ahmet Hayri Tayfur notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Beşiktaş JK's Yakup Rical. Yakup Rical was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Beşiktaş JK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Özcan Lokman hit a great ball. Ahmet Hayri Tayfur might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yakup Rical. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Hayri Tayfur ran back to his position shaking his head. Beşiktaş JK's Ahmet Reha Erakıncı got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60 minutes, Yücel Candar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ayazpoyraz and the Beşiktaş JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Ayazpoyraz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yücel Candar to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Reha Erakıncı scored 3-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of İhsan Günsel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yaman Sabuncuoğlu scored 4-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yakup Rical, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute Ahmet Hayri Tayfur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakup Rical saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Yaman Sabuncuoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yakup Rical. Beşiktaş JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yaman Sabuncuoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. If Ahmet Hayri Tayfur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Özer Toprak came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Beşiktaş JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özer Toprak couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Ayazpoyraz players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
