Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Çarşıbaşı's Ahmet Refik Akdoğu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Çarşıbaşı's Refik Çalımbay got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Kamuran Kaşif scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atilla Tarkan Eroğul, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ahmet Refik Akdoğu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Çarşıbaşı's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Refik Akdoğu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güner Şinasi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esentepe's Güner Şinasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Refik Akdoğu in the 12th minute of play. Atilla Tarkan Eroğul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamuran Kaşif, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ali Yalçıns short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Güner Şinasi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Kamuran Kaşif managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esentepe's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamuran Kaşif was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilla Tarkan Eroğul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atilla Tarkan Eroğul came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Esentepe's Gürol Ilıcan. But to his dismay, Gürol Ilıcan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cafer Unsur kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Güner Şinasi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hulusi Ongun. Kamuran Kaşif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Çarşıbaşı players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Esentepe were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gürol Ilıcan to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cafer Unsur got free with Atilla Tarkan Eroğul in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Ahmet Refik Akdoğu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Çarşıbaşı fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Esentepe's Gürol Ilıcan got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esentepe's Kamuran Kaşif got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Güner Şinasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Yalçın, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 67th minute, Ali Yalçın left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Çarşıbaşı fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Ali Yalçın scored 3-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güner Şinasi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cabbar Bostancı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Refik Akdoğu struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Güner Şinasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Çarşıbaşı. If Ali Yalçın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güner Şinasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Yalçın in the 86th minute of the match. Atilla Tarkan Eroğul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürol Ilıcan in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute Gürol Ilıcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Tarkan Eroğul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kamuran Kaşif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Atilla Tarkan Eroğul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Çarşıbaşı were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Esentepe for a fine match.
