The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Kütahyaspor's Aktaç Bilgehan got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Mehmet Bilge Yılhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorukhan Tezcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Dorukhan Tezcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basri Özdoğan in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kemal Maksum saved Iydere JK from getting behind. Basri Özdoğan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kemal Maksum having to interfere. Şenel Temizkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Basri Özdoğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Basri Özdoğan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kemal Maksum was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cafer Aktemur got free with Mehmet Bilge Yılhan in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 27 minutes, Dorukhan Tezcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iydere JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorukhan Tezcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 minutes, Göktan Yalazalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kütahyaspor and the Iydere JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kütahyaspor getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Göktan Yalazalp hit a great ball. Mehmet Bilge Yılhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorukhan Tezcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kemal Maksum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şenel Temizkan in the 39th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Dorukhan Tezcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iydere JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorukhan Tezcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Bilge Yılhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cafer Aktemur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Iydere JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kütahyaspor were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şenel Temizkan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Dorukhan Tezcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Iydere JK's Kemal Maksum got control of the ball when Basri Özdoğan tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Iydere JK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. In the 58th minute, Ahmet Bedri Oğuzman fired a really elegant long shot, but Kemal Maksum threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. 60 minutes into the match, Iydere JK's goalkeeper Kemal Maksum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basri Özdoğan. The supporters of Kütahyaspor booed when Iydere JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. İsmet Ongar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 minutes of play Kütahyaspor's Göktan Yalazalp was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Aktaç Bilgehan's late challenge caught a Iydere JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aktaç Bilgehan helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Kütahyaspor got a freekick which was hit by Aktaç Bilgehan. Mehmet Bilge Yılhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cafer Aktemur's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Şenel Temizkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Iydere JK's zone, Basri Özdoğan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kemal Maksum came out of the goal and Basri Özdoğan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cafer Aktemur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kütahyaspor walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
