Deniz Okergun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kılıç Savaşer in the 6th minute of play. Arif Ensar Sarısaltuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Deniz Okergun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kılıç Savaşer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deniz Okergun having to interfere. Deniz Okergun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Ensar Sarısaltuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Izmirspor's Arif Ensar Sarısaltuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orçun Afak struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Glauco Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Farende.
