Spectators: 6803 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Farende's Orçun Afak started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Birsel Şamil got free with Ali Kürşat Ozan in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ali Kürşat Ozan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orçun Afak in the 6th minute of play. Halis Durukan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Deniz Okergun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denizhan Tecimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deniz Okergun having to interfere. Deniz Okergun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halis Durukan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denizhan Tecimer in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Deniz Okergun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Bursa FC's zone, Orçun Afak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Kürşat Ozan came out of the goal and Orçun Afak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Farende's Mürsel Adıgüzel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ali Kürşat Ozan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 31stth minute of the game Orçun Afak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bursa FC's Ali Kürşat Ozan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nazmi Gelenbe kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Birsel Şamil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Kürşat Ozan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Bursa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orçun Afak came free, but Ali Kürşat Ozan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bursa FC's Nazmi Gelenbe got a free kick in the 40th minute. Orçun Afak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Halis Durukan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bursa FC's Halis Durukan got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denizhan Tecimer to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes in the game, Denizhan Tecimer fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Deniz Okergun having to interfere. Deniz Okergun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denizhan Tecimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Ali Ömer Ağca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mürsel Adıgüzel hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes, Bursa FC's Vehdi Tavgaç shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Deniz Okergun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bursa FC reached it. Deniz Okergun came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Bursa FC's Halis Durukan. But to his dismay, Halis Durukan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ali Ömer Ağca's late challenge caught a Bursa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Ömer Ağca helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bursa FC booed when Farende was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atay Baysal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Denizhan Tecimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
