In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Smyrna Spor's goalkeeper Namık Kemal Ortanca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ender Bozok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Aktuğ Gazzal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Smyrna Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PELİT SK the free kick. Akşemseddin Turaç hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Sancar Pekdeger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Galip Salcan in the 70th minute of play. In the 79th minute, PELİT SK's Aşık Akova dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ender Bozok came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Namık Kemal Ortanca could save by the left post. In the 86th minute, Aşık Akova fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Smyrna Spor's Namık Kemal Ortanca got control of the ball when Ender Bozok tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 97th minute Ali Galip Salcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sancar Pekdeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
