Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kılıç Savaşer started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Izmirspor booed when Iydere JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedih Özok didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arif Ensar Sarısaltuk came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Izmirspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Ensar Sarısaltuk couldn't finish the play. Izmirspor's Bilge Özakay shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kemal Maksum but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafer Aktemur in the 12th minute of play forced Izmirspor's goalkeeper Glauco Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafer Aktemur might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glauco Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cafer Aktemur ran back to his position shaking his head. Izmirspor's Glauco Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorukhan Tezcan in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cafer Aktemur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glauco Varela was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 21st match minute, Izmirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artun Hatip to maneuver through the defense. Cafer Aktemur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Kemal Maksum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Izmirspor's Arif Ensar Sarısaltuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kemal Maksum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Izmirspor's Glauco Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorukhan Tezcan in the 38th minute of play. Glauco Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorukhan Tezcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorukhan Tezcan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 58 in the game by Cafer Aktemur from a close distance when the talented Glauco Varela managed to make a qualified save. Izmirspor's players were relieved. Glauco Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorukhan Tezcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Izmirspor's Glauco Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Izmirspor from getting a goal against them. Kemal Maksum came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Izmirspor's Kılıç Savaşer. But to his dismay, Kılıç Savaşer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 71 minutes, Artun Hatip mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Izmirspor and the Iydere JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Artun Hatip kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorukhan Tezcan in the 80th minute of play forced Izmirspor's goalkeeper Glauco Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Izmirspor's zone, Cafer Aktemur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glauco Varela came out of the goal and Cafer Aktemur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cafer Aktemur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Glauco Varela having to make a save. Cafer Aktemur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Glauco Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cafer Aktemur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dorukhan Tezcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Izmirspor could leave the field as winners, despite Iydere JK having more of the ball for most of the match.
