In the 31st minute of the match Bilge Kutalp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bektaş Veli Azimli skillfully saved the ball. Bektaş Veli Azimli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yüksel Ereken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Sakut Hatemoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlyas Zülfikar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İlyas Zülfikar came out of the goal and Sakut Hatemoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armutlu FK's Onurhan Boğataş got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Sakut Hatemoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlyas Zülfikar having to interfere. Armutlu FK's Onurhan Boğataş got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sakut Hatemoğlu struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. İlyas Zülfikar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armutlu FK. 56 minutes into the game, Hacı Ali Birsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tatvan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Armutlu FK the free kick. After 56 played minutes Tatvan got a freekick which was hit by Hacı Ali Birsen. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garip Okaner during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match was over Armutlu FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tatvan throughout the match.
