Tacettin Genç was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mücahit Başkaya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 72 minute of play. When Cumhur Gümüşcüoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trabzonspor's protests and gave Cumhur Gümüşcüoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Harun İncili charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Fatih Semi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Asım Yazgı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fatih Semi having to interfere. Tacettin Genç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mücahit Başkaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nurdagi JK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
