KARS SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trabzonspor the free kick. In the 8th minute, Halil İbrahim Ersever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Avni Şahkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yakup Batüralp was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ali Kaan Boğataş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avni Şahkar, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute of the match, Yakup Batüralp tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tacettin Genç saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tacettin Genç was a little too slow when Yakup Batüralp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. When KARS SK's Yakup Batüralp in 23 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tacettin Genç guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The audience was convinced that Yakup Batüralp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tacettin Genç was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. If Yakup Batüralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tacettin Genç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yakup Batüralp in the 30th minute of the match. The KARS SK fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when KARS SK's Yakup Batüralp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Yakup Batüralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osman Ali Kayhan got free with Tacettin Genç in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ali Kaan Boğataş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avni Şahkar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Mehdi Seylan charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehdi Seylan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mehdi Seylan hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yakup Batüralp in the 53rd minute of play forced Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Tacettin Genç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yakup Batüralp took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tacettin Genç. Tacettin Genç dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Yakup Batüralp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tacettin Genç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. When Kağan Sebat came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the KARS SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kağan Sebat couldn't finish the play. Osman Ali Kayhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tacettin Genç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yakup Batüralp in the 72nd minute of the match. Yakup Batüralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tacettin Genç having to interfere. Trabzonspor's Tacettin Genç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kağan Sebat in the 75th minute of play. Avni Şahkar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Ali Kaan Boğataş skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Trabzonspor's Cumhur Gümüşcüoğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ali Kaan Boğataş. That made the score 3-1 after 82 minutes of play. Yakup Batüralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yakup Batüralp in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tacettin Genç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 93 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Mehdi Seylan. In the 96th minute, Yakup Batüralp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tacettin Genç was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KARS SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Trabzonspor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
