Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Şerif Nurettin started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, OTLUKSPOR's Yaşar Akoğul got control of the ball when Haşmet Hürsev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kurtulus's Alican Sonay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sufi Apaydın in the 16th minute of play. Yaşar Akoğul made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Haşmet Hürsev sent off a good shot on target. Alican Sonay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sufi Apaydın in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Vecdet Mahşer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kurtulus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OTLUKSPOR the free kick. After 22 played minutes Kurtulus got a freekick which was hit by Vecdet Mahşer. 24 minutes into the match, Kurtulus's goal looked a bit too open when Şerif Nurettin came free, but Alican Sonay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kurtulus's Nuh Ocakçı in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OTLUKSPOR's goalie prevented a goal. Nuh Ocakçı who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Yaşar Akoğul when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, OTLUKSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Rıfat Özsel came free, but Yaşar Akoğul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Erhun Tokuzer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yaşar Akoğul showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 43 minutes, Haşmet Hürsev made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. OTLUKSPOR's Yaşar Akoğul tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuh Ocakçı to make the kick off. If Vecdet Mahşer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuh Ocakçı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Yaşar Akoğul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurtulus's Haşmet Hürsev got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69thth minute of the game Nuh Ocakçı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OTLUKSPOR's Yaşar Akoğul was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yaşar Akoğul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haşmet Hürsev in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of OTLUKSPOR booed when Kurtulus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serhat Cabir didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in OTLUKSPOR's zone, Nuh Ocakçı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaşar Akoğul came out of the goal and Nuh Ocakçı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuh Ocakçı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the OTLUKSPOR defense, Haşmet Hürsev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yaşar Akoğul. The OTLUKSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yaşar Akoğul should have stopped the shot. If Nuh Ocakçı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Haşmet Hürsev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nuh Ocakçı, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 96 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Yaşar Akoğul was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kurtulus had played much better football throughout.
