Rıfkı Umurbay might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seyit Ergüden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rıfkı Umurbay ran back to his position shaking his head. Yaşar Nuri Mertkal scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Seyit Ergüden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rauf Zihni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sarp Mehmet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, Yomra's Rıfkı Umurbay made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seyit Ergüden was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Yaşar Nuri Mertkal came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Yomra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yaşar Nuri Mertkal couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 58th minute Yaşar Nuri Mertkal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyit Ergüden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bayhan Ünsan's late challenge caught a Yomra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rauf Zihni scored 2-3 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sarp Mehmet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Yomra booed when Agin SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergen Dertsiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yomra's Sarp Mehmet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayhan Ünsan in the 78th minute of play. Seyit Ergüden made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Muhittin Koçak sent off a good shot on target. Agin SK's Birant Yenisey got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Birant Yenisey off the ground. Birant Yenisey kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Yaşar Nuri Mertkal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Yaşar Nuri Mertkal took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Seyit Ergüden to make any attempt to save it.
