The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fuat Özveren during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Acipayam FK's Abdulmelik Adısönmez got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fuat Özveren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korkutalp Şenyaşar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncer Filiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Acipayam FK booed when TARSUS İDMAN YURDU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorukhan Nurullah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korkutalp Şenyaşar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuncer Filiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Cabbar Tengizalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baysal Okyar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TARSUS İDMAN YURDU's Korkutalp Şenyaşar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save TARSUS İDMAN YURDU from getting a goal against them. Kağan Vecdi's late challenge caught a TARSUS İDMAN YURDU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kağan Vecdi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Acipayam FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kağan Vecdi to maneuver through the defense. Baysal Okyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uygur Taykut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fahrettin Oyum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baysal Okyar having to interfere. After the first half TARSUS İDMAN YURDU were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tuncer Filiz made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Mehmet Çağrı Topçam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuncer Filiz in the 59th minute of play forced TARSUS İDMAN YURDU's goalkeeper Korkutalp Şenyaşar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to TARSUS İDMAN YURDU getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dorukhan Nurullah hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, TARSUS İDMAN YURDU's Ahmet Kutsi Ruzi got a free kick in the 61st minute. Korkutalp Şenyaşar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulmelik Adısönmez in the 64th minute of play. Baysal Okyar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 66th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Tuncer Filiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Tayfur Erten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Acipayam FK were furious when Arın Kotuzhan was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, TARSUS İDMAN YURDU's Gencay Akhan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Baysal Okyar. After having played for 89 minutes, Abdulmelik Adısönmez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acipayam FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulmelik Adısönmez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Abdulmelik Adısönmez notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of TARSUS İDMAN YURDU's Korkutalp Şenyaşar. Korkutalp Şenyaşar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cabbar Tengizalp's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Baysal Okyar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. TARSUS İDMAN YURDU were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Acipayam FK's much stronger midfield.
