In the 24th minute Nae Crețulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedirhan Uğursoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Karadeniz Uşakları FK booed when Dicle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hafız Teksoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karadeniz Uşakları FK were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Dicle's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Recep Akşit took the corner. Karadeniz Uşakları FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Derviş Betik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nae Crețulescu to strike the kick off in the second half. When Nae Crețulescu came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Dicle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nae Crețulescu couldn't finish the play. Karadeniz Uşakları FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dicle the free kick. After having played for 76 minutes, Okanay Talayhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karadeniz Uşakları FK's Bedirhan Uğursoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Crețulescu in the 79th minute of play. If Okanay Talayhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derviş Betik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Okanay Talayhan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mariusz Siwek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute, Okanay Talayhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Okanay Talayhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Karadeniz Uşakları FK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
