The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hasan Pekinturk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Okanay Talayhan in the 3rd minute of the match. Arif Nihat Pakkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedirhan Uğursoy having to interfere. The supporters of Karadeniz Uşakları FK booed when Kurtalan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüştü Egin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derviş Betik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hasan Pekinturk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hasan Pekinturk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Karadeniz Uşakları FK booed when Kurtalan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüştü Egin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Recep Akşit, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Kurtalan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raşit Durualp in the 93rd minute. The corner led Kurtalan's Raşit Durualp to fire away a dangerous shot which Bedirhan Uğursoy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Batı Yılkan kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Okanay Talayhan struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Hasan Pekinturk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karadeniz Uşakları FK.
