With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tanju Cebir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Seçkin Koray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süreyya Işınay in the 14th minute of play. In the 21st minute, FC Aegea's Yusuf Bahadır Safer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tanju Cebir. Tanju Cebir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Tanju Cebir was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Yusuf Bahadır Safer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
