Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Muhsin Tuncel made the kick off and thus started the match. Şimşek Bilen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egemen Dilan's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. Egemen Dilan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ilgin's Görkem Öztay got a free kick in the 7th minute. Şimşek Bilen was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Egemen Dilan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Egemen Dilan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Ilgin's goal looked a bit too open when Nizam Ceyhan came free, but Tanju Cebir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Süreyya Işınay during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Ilgin got a freekick which was hit by Süreyya Işınay. Ilgin's Tanju Cebir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhsin Tuncel in the 16th minute of play. Şimşek Bilen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Egemen Dilan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. After 22 played minutes Ilgin got a freekick which was hit by Süreyya Işınay. Şimşek Bilen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aziz Taybars went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Şimşek Bilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Taybars, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ilgin's attack was well implemented in the 31st minute, but when Egemen Dilan was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Şimşek Bilen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egemen Dilan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nizam Ceyhan in the 43rd minute of play forced Ilgin's goalkeeper Tanju Cebir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egemen Dilan in the 44th minute of play forced Elbeyli's goalkeeper Şimşek Bilen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Elbeyli's goalkeeper Şimşek Bilen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aziz Taybars. Aziz Taybars could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Şimşek Bilen made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute Aziz Taybars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şimşek Bilen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aziz Taybars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Aziz Taybars's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şimşek Bilen was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Şeref Turkay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes Elbeyli got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Davut Pekel. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egemen Dilan in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şimşek Bilen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 71 played minutes Ilgin got a freekick which was hit by Süreyya Işınay. Egemen Dilan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Şimşek Bilen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Aziz Taybars managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilgin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aziz Taybars was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aziz Taybars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şimşek Bilen having to interfere. The supporters of Ilgin booed when Elbeyli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Davut Pekel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Şeref Turkay fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ilgin's protests and gave Şeref Turkay a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ilgin getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Şeref Turkay hit a great ball. Egemen Dilan might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şimşek Bilen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Egemen Dilan ran back to his position shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ilgin fully deserved thier win.
