When Kayacan Erensoy came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Aslansaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kayacan Erensoy couldn't finish the play. Mümtaz Baloğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arif Çelebi Erdönmez came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Aslansaray's Mümtaz Baloğlu. But to his dismay, Mümtaz Baloğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Mehmet Hamdi Yankı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serhan Şükür, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Hamdi Yankı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arda Ozan Ergül, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute Serhan Şükür shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Hamdi Yankı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serhan Şükür's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Hamdi Yankı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Kayacan Erensoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Mümtaz Baloğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Serhan Şükür's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Hamdi Yankı was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Aykan Talha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Yeşilhisar 1997 SK's zone, Kayacan Erensoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Çelebi Erdönmez came out of the goal and Kayacan Erensoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aslansaray's Kayacan Erensoy got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mümtaz Baloğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Arif Çelebi Erdönmez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kayacan Erensoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arif Çelebi Erdönmez was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. When %teams%'s Serhan Şükür was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 76 minutes into the game. Mehmet Hamdi Yankı was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Arif Çelebi Erdönmez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kayacan Erensoy in the 83rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Serhan Şükür's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Hamdi Yankı was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 90th minute Kayacan Erensoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Çelebi Erdönmez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
