An unexpectedly hard shot by Kağan Birsen in the 7th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Batı Kağan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kağan Birsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cüneyd Keykavus made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Burhanettin Özakın sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Alaaddin Özgur notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of GALATASARAY's Batı Kağan. Batı Kağan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Karakocan getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Bilgin Seyban hit a great ball. Alaaddin Özgur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kağan Birsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Batı Kağan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batı Kağan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alaaddin Özgur in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burhanettin Özakın in the 47th minute of play forced Karakocan's goalkeeper Cüneyd Keykavus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Burhanettin Özakın made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Alaaddin Özgur fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 60 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Batı Kağan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kağan Birsen. After having played for 64 minutes, Mustafa Haydar Bakırcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Haydar Bakırcıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Batı Kağan was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Alaaddin Özgur capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alaaddin Özgur really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. When Alaaddin Özgur came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Karakocan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alaaddin Özgur couldn't finish the play. Alican Toköz hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Suavi Sezginay kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Kağan Birsen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Batı Kağan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burhanettin Özakın in the 87th minute of play forced Karakocan's goalkeeper Cüneyd Keykavus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GALATASARAY were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Karakocan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ensar Perviz took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Burhanettin Özakın to score against Cüneyd Keykavus in Karakocan's goal. 2-2 after 90 minutes. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
