The audience was convinced that Şinasi Karan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Batı Kağan was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Batı Kağan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abuzer Özsel in the 28th minute of play. Halil İbrahim Sezer kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Batı Kağan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Burhanettin Özakın took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilmi Akağan. Hilmi Akağan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Abuzer Özsel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Mustafa Haydar Bakırcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Burhanettin Özakın in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilmi Akağan saved Osmanbey from getting behind. Batı Kağan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abuzer Özsel, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
