Onuralp Tuluk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüsrev Kırca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Onuralp Tuluk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsrev Kırca in the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Hüsrev Kırca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Can FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hüsrev Kırca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Onuralp Tuluk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güneş Akyıldız in the 35th minute of play forced Tercan's goalkeeper Onuralp Tuluk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 35th minute of the match Paşa Kuyas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Paşa Kuyas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 39 minutes into the match, Can FK's Güneş Akyıldız sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Onuralp Tuluk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Güneş Akyıldız struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Onuralp Tuluk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Tercan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Can FK the free kick. A collision led to Tercan getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. When the match clock showed 49 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Güneş Akyıldız sped through Tercan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Onuralp Tuluk. After the first half Can FK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Güneş Akyıldız was the one to do the kick off. Onuralp Tuluk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güneş Akyıldız in the 54th minute of play. Tahir Sebuktekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orhan Tevfik having to interfere. Güneş Akyıldız sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th match minute, Tercan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aytek Sahir to maneuver through the defense. Hüsrev Kırca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Onuralp Tuluk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
