The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Mustafa Orhan Evvel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gencal Şamil made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Dikili got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Emre Kantürk. Umur Tosunoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Akay Samim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celestino Semeno skillfully saved the ball. Abdulmelik Akbaşak's late challenge caught a Dikili's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Abdulmelik Akbaşak took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Celestino Semeno to make any attempt to save it. Özalp Sabeddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gencer Tezal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dikili's Efe Seyfeddin was substituted for Atilla Tarkan İsmihan. Ejder İşçen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencer Tezal having to interfere. Şadi İnanır kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Babaeski SK got a freekick which was hit by Abdulmelik Akbaşak.
