Güngör Karar started the match with the kick off. Güngör Karar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray Tahsin having to interfere. Güngör Ergenç struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Yıldıray Tahsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kangal. Ahmet İlhan Tuluk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Güngör Karar came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Kangal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güngör Karar couldn't finish the play. Güngör Ergenç struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Yıldıray Tahsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kangal. In the 18th minute Güngör Karar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldıray Tahsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ali Galip Sargın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Savastepe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kangal the free kick. Kangal's Ferhat Umut couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Savastepe. After a rather tough play, Savastepe's Ali Galip Sargın got a free kick in the 41st minute. Burhan Saffet's late challenge caught a Kangal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Burhan Saffet helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Kangal's Ferhat Umut got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Yıldıray Tahsin.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet İlhan Tuluk made a kick off. When Ali Galip Sargın was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. In the 55th minute, Ali Galip Sargın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Güngör Karar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Seyfullah Orbey hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the game, Kangal's Güngör Karar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yıldıray Tahsin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Güngör Ergenç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Kangal. Ferhat Umut stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yıldıray Tahsin. 3-0. Güngör Ergenç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yıldıray Tahsin having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Savastepe's Ahmet İlhan Tuluk got a free kick in the 80th minute. Güngör Ergenç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Savastepe. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Kangal. Ferhat Umut stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yıldıray Tahsin. 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Güngör Ergenç in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yıldıray Tahsin saved Savastepe from getting behind. Güngör Ergenç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kangal's Güngör Ergenç got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Savastepe's Yıldıray Tahsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güngör Karar in the 97th minute of play. 101 minutes into the match, Savastepe's goal looked a bit too open when Güngör Ergenç came free, but Yıldıray Tahsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
