In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarıkamış Gençlerbirliği's goalkeeper Cevdet Tayfun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 12 played minutes Tunceli FK got a freekick which was hit by Selim Pirane. In the 13th minute, Mustafa İzzet Saatçioğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Selim Pirane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cevdet Tayfun having to make a save. 15 minutes into the game, Ahmet Ömür Akaydın was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. If Selim Pirane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sarıkamış Gençlerbirliği's Türkeş Kavaş got a free kick in the 19th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Tunceli FK's Ardahan Ülke tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Selim Pirane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cevdet Tayfun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulvahit Mazlum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tunceli FK booed when Sarıkamış Gençlerbirliği was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suat Ulucan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Sarıkamış Gençlerbirliği getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Suat Ulucan hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uygur Bengialp in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cevdet Tayfun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The attack was good, but when Uygur Bengialp in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Hulki Salman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Enes Azim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uygur Bengialp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevdet Tayfun having to interfere. Suat Ulucan charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Suat Ulucan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sarıkamış Gençlerbirliği's Suat Ulucan got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Sarıkamış Gençlerbirliği's goal looked a bit too open when Uygur Bengialp came free, but Cevdet Tayfun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Uygur Bengialp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mustafa İzzet Saatçioğlu was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sarıkamış Gençlerbirliği's zone, Uygur Bengialp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cevdet Tayfun came out of the goal and Uygur Bengialp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cevdet Tayfun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selim Pirane in the 60th minute of play. Enes Azim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa İzzet Saatçioğlu in the 64th minute of the match. Uygur Bengialp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cevdet Tayfun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Ruhi Özerdim from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Cevdet Tayfun's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ardahan Ülke hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Nizam Canbulat shot from long distance in the 74th minute, but Cevdet Tayfun was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Selim Pirane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cevdet Tayfun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Türkeş Kavaş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarıkamış Gençlerbirliği and the Tunceli FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sarıkamış Gençlerbirliği's Türkeş Kavaş got a free kick in the 77th minute. Cevdet Tayfun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uygur Bengialp in the 78th minute. Cevdet Tayfun didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Tunceli FK's Uygur Bengialp got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Selim Pirane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cevdet Tayfun. Sarıkamış Gençlerbirliği's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Selim Pirane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Sarıkamış Gençlerbirliği's Türkeş Kavaş got a free kick in the 94th minute. Tunceli FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
