The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7thth minute of the game Onur Ali Başesgi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sürüc JK's Saltuk Kutalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saltuk Kutalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Turan Zoral in the 9th minute of play. Saltuk Kutalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onur Ali Başesgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Abdulmelik Özduru fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vakfikebir's protests and gave Abdulmelik Özduru a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vakfikebir getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Abdulmelik Özduru hit a great ball. Ant Tolunbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abbas Ağırtaş in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Onur Ali Başesgi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saltuk Kutalp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 27th minute, Kemalettin Demirtekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saltuk Kutalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onur Ali Başesgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sürüc JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vakfikebir were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abbas Ağırtaş to strike the kick off in the second half. Onur Ali Başesgi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Saltuk Kutalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Turan Zoral struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Saltuk Kutalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vakfikebir. The audience was convinced that Vacid Özberk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ant Tolunbay was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. If Abbas Ağırtaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Saltuk Kutalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onur Ali Başesgi in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Ahmet Turan Zoral fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 74 minutes, Ahmet Turan Zoral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vakfikebir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Turan Zoral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Onur Ali Başesgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vakfikebir's Ahmet Turan Zoral got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Sürüc JK's goal looked a bit too open when Onur Ali Başesgi came free, but Saltuk Kutalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Çetin Baytugay fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sürüc JK's protests and gave Çetin Baytugay a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Sürüc JK got a freekick which was hit by Çetin Baytugay. 84 minutes into the match, Sürüc JK's goalkeeper Saltuk Kutalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Turan Zoral. Saltuk Kutalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onur Ali Başesgi in the 87th minute of the match. Sürüc JK's Saltuk Kutalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onur Ali Başesgi in the 90th minute of play. Saltuk Kutalp made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Ahmet Turan Zoral sent off a good shot on target. If Onur Ali Başesgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vakfikebir played a much better game than Sürüc JK and deserved their victory. The Sürüc JK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
