Semi Sefer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Reşat Yörük had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceyhan Kutay kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Pehlivanköy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Azmi Özsan in the 48th minute. The corner ended in Azmi Özsan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Catalcesme's Semi Sefer did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bilge Sazak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Semih Çelik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Güneş Fırıncı. Pehlivanköy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Semih Çelik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Semih Çelik got free with Güneş Fırıncı in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Pehlivanköy booed when Catalcesme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serhat Elçin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pehlivanköy's Güneş Fırıncı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reşat Yörük in the 79th minute of play. Güneş Fırıncı made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Semih Çelik sent off a good shot on target. Güneş Fırıncı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reşat Yörük in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceyhan Kutay in the 83rd minute of play forced Pehlivanköy's goalkeeper Güneş Fırıncı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Semih Çelik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güneş Fırıncı having to interfere. Güneş Fırıncı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceyhan Kutay in the 86th minute. Güneş Fırıncı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reşat Yörük in the 89th minute of the match. Semih Çelik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Güneş Fırıncı made a huge save. Semi Sefer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bilge Sazak, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
