An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Poyraz Kazakhan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Poyraz Kazakhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gümüssuyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Poyraz Kazakhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muammer Soyurgal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazhar Acartürk in the 25th minute of play forced Gümüssuyu's goalkeeper Devlet Uruç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
