The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kamuran Eymen in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Davut Dinç, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Lütfullah Rafet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lütfullah Rafet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göksun FK's Davut Dinç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Göksun FK from getting a goal against them. Aral Çelikoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lütfullah Rafet struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Sergen Pektaşi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Göksun FK. In the 25th minute, Bahadır Yazıcı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nurettin Belen, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 27th minute, Hatemi Yezid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Hatemi Yezid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sergen Pektaşi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lütfullah Rafet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lütfullah Rafet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergen Pektaşi having to interfere. Göksun FK's Lütfullah Rafet got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Kamuran Eymen came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Hacettepe SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kamuran Eymen couldn't finish the play. After having played for 46 minutes, Aral Çelikoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hacettepe SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aral Çelikoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Göksun FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aral Çelikoz to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Sergen Pektaşi managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Göksun FK's Lütfullah Rafet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 60th minute, Müfit Canol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zeynel Korur fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göksun FK's protests and gave Zeynel Korur a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Göksun FK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Zeynel Korur hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Hacettepe SK's Aşkın Akıncıbey in action when he in the 66th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Hatemi Yezid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lütfullah Rafet got free with Sergen Pektaşi in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rdth minute of the game Hatemi Yezid who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hacettepe SK's Sergen Pektaşi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lütfullah Rafet got free with Sergen Pektaşi in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Göksun FK's Hatemi Yezid got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergen Pektaşi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hatemi Yezid's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Göksun FK's Hatemi Yezid was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Hatemi Yezid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Hatemi Yezid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergen Pektaşi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lütfullah Rafet's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sergen Pektaşi firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Hacettepe SK's Sergen Pektaşi got control of the ball when Lütfullah Rafet tried to sneak it across the goal line.
