After 21 minutes, Tolunay Rical mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pülümür and the Karaburun JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 42 minutes, Muzaffer Metehan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karaburun JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muzaffer Metehan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Pülümür's Fehmi Saraçoğlu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nazil Kani. Nazil Kani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nazil Kani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pülümür's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
