But to his dismay, Semi Ceri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 24 minutes of play, Hamidabad's Köksal Usal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anıl Cenk Seyhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the game, Çorum Ekmek Spor's Ahmet Kadri Mecnun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eyüp Tekcan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Anıl Cenk Seyhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semi Ceri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Ahmet Kadri Mecnun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Çorum Ekmek Spor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hamidabad were winning 1-2.

Ahmet Kadri Mecnun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eyüp Tekcan having to interfere. Rüknettin Şenal might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eyüp Tekcan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 71st minute Hakkı Devrim Hürsel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Cenk Seyhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ahmet Kadri Mecnun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Hamidabad:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Çorum Ekmek Spor:s goal. Anıl Cenk Seyhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakkı Devrim Hürsel, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Çorum Ekmek Spor players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
