After having played for 45 minutes, Atıf Servet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beşiktaş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atıf Servet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 46 played minutes Beşiktaş got a freekick which was hit by Gürsel Mehmet. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Demirhan Kutlughan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şensoy Tecer having to make a save. When Alişan Vala fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beşiktaş's protests and gave Alişan Vala a yellow card for diving instead. Özdemir Dengiz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Inönü FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
