Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aykut Nurbay started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cüneyd Cesman in the 4th minute of play forced Göle's goalkeeper Feyyaz İslam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Cüneyd Cesman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feyyaz İslam was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Göle booed when Red Dragons F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şinasi Hancı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aykut Nurbay in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuri Demiroğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hüsamettin İzzet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Feyyaz İslam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hayrettin Onur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feyyaz İslam having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Hayrettin Onur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feyyaz İslam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göle's Feyyaz İslam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayrettin Onur in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match, Yusuf Özsungur got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nuri Demiroğlu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Feyyaz İslam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayrettin Onur in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykut Nurbay in the 39th minute of play forced Red Dragons F.C's goalkeeper Nuri Demiroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hayrettin Onur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Feyyaz İslam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Red Dragons F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cüneyd Cesman to make the kick off. When Yusuf Özsungur came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Göle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yusuf Özsungur couldn't finish the play. Cüneyd Cesman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cüneyd Cesman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Feyyaz İslam when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hayrettin Onur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feyyaz İslam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Yusuf Özsungur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 67th minute of the match Şinasi Hancı completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Şinasi Hancı a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Red Dragons F.C's Şinasi Hancı got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Yusuf Özsungur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nuri Demiroğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cüneyt Oyal kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Hayrettin Onur struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Feyyaz İslam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Dragons F.C. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Dragons F.C's goalkeeper Nuri Demiroğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hayrettin Onur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hüsamettin İzzet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Feyyaz İslam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Hüsamettin İzzet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Dragons F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Göle the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Aykut Nurbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Göle's supporters rose to their feet, but Aykut Nurbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuri Demiroğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aykut Nurbay struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Nuri Demiroğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Göle. Red Dragons F.C were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
