Sskısparta's Ahmet Necdet İlsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Sskısparta from getting a goal against them. Sezgin Azim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Ahmet Necdet İlsu made a huge save. Sarper Sani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tamer Rafiz's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Aşkın Kurtuluş hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match, Atakan Öksüzoğlu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ahmet Necdet İlsu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atakan Öksüzoğlu in the 21st minute of play forced Sskısparta's goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet İlsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sezgin Azim scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Necdet İlsu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ahmet Necdet İlsu was a little too slow when Atakan Öksüzoğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-0. If Sefa Kolçak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Tamer Rafiz made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hikmet Remiz in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sarper Sani saved Tünel from getting behind. When Hikmet Remiz came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Sskısparta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hikmet Remiz couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aşkın Kurtuluş during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Sskısparta got a freekick which was hit by Aşkın Kurtuluş. A collision led to Sskısparta getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Vecdet Dilhun hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Atakan Öksüzoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Necdet İlsu. Sskısparta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sskısparta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tünel.
