The coaching staff of Cay Yesili protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Işık Tokyüz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The Yayalar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orbay Taşboğa should have stopped the shot. Cay Yesili's Yusuf Ziya Esraf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cay Yesili from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Yayalar's goal looked a bit too open when Baki Levent came free, but Orbay Taşboğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
