When Akil Çakır fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kalamis's protests and gave Akil Çakır a yellow card for diving instead. Balgam Gençlik Spor's Bayezit Faydalı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Başar Yay in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Kalamis were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Balgam Gençlik Spor side.
