The supporters of Mroo fk booed when Adana Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulaziz Çidam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uluç Temur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Erkut Tarhun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mroo fk's Erkut Tarhun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hami Çiftçioğlu in the 23rd minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Adana Spor's goalkeeper Bulut Uzsoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Süleyman Yerhum. Uluç Temur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gündüz Koray was the one to do the kick off. Hami Çiftçioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Erkut Tarhun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Adana Spor defense, Gündüz Koray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bulut Uzsoy. The Adana Spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bulut Uzsoy should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gündüz Koray in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bulut Uzsoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the game, Güngör Göçmen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mroo fk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Adana Spor the free kick. In the 65th minute Uluç Temur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erkut Tarhun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gündüz Koray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Mroo fk's goalkeeper Erkut Tarhun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hami Çiftçioğlu. Erkut Tarhun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uluç Temur's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Zühtü Sarpkan kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Bulut Uzsoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gündüz Koray in the 80th minute of the match. Hami Çiftçioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Erkut Tarhun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Gündüz Koray cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Bulut Uzsoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mroo fk's Süleyman Yerhum got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Süleyman Yerhum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Mroo fk were the better team. Mroo fk's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
