Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Korhan Kiyas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Basri Erdemli in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hasan Ali Timur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 3 minutes into the game, Güner Erakıncı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AL-FARUK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Messina the free kick. In the 4th minute, Güner Erakıncı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Korhan Kiyas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enver İlgi having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Messina got a freekick which was hit by Sefa Günsel. Adil İlmen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enver İlgi. Messina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, AL-FARUK's Hasan Ali Timur got control of the ball when Talha Oral tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakkı Onur Vecih in the 21st minute of play forced AL-FARUK's goalkeeper Hasan Ali Timur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Korhan Kiyas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korhan Kiyas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Enver İlgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Messina got a freekick which was hit by Sefa Günsel. If Anıl Seciye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enver İlgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korhan Kiyas in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Korhan Kiyas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enver İlgi was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. If Korhan Kiyas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Korhan Kiyas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AL-FARUK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hakkı Onur Vecih to make the kick off. If Basri Erdemli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Messina's Hakkı Onur Vecih got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hakkı Onur Vecih recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Korhan Kiyas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Talha Oral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Anıl Seciye came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the AL-FARUK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anıl Seciye couldn't finish the play. Korhan Kiyas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enver İlgi having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anıl Seciye got free with Enver İlgi in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anıl Seciye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Enver İlgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Korhan Kiyas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enver İlgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Korhan Kiyas came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the AL-FARUK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korhan Kiyas couldn't finish the play. When AL-FARUK's Korhan Kiyas in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Messina's goalie prevented a goal. Anıl Seciye who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Enver İlgi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. AL-FARUK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
