Ercüment Oğuztan charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ercüment Oğuztan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Altuğ Öztanır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lütfullah İçkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cenk Özcebe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enver Akman. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Ercüment Oğuztan got his second yellow card in the match during the 22nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Tevfik Şerhenk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Güç spor's supporters rose to their feet, but Tevfik Şerhenk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enver Akman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tevfik Şerhenk in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enver Akman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tevfik Şerhenk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enver Akman having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GÖZTEPE's Altuğ Öztanır got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tevfik Şerhenk to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes GÖZTEPE got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Selim Uçkun. Altuğ Öztanır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lütfullah İçkin having to interfere. After 61 minutes of play, GÖZTEPE's Gazi Yasık made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lütfullah İçkin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 65 minutes, Tevfik Şerhenk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Güç spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tevfik Şerhenk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gazi Yasık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Lütfullah İçkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 69 in the game by Gazi Yasık from a close distance when the talented Lütfullah İçkin managed to make a qualified save. Güç spor's players were relieved. Cenk Özcebe kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Enver Akman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tevfik Şerhenk, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Gazi Yasık took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lütfullah İçkin. Lütfullah İçkin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Altuğ Öztanır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bektaş Veli Temizel kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Güç spor's Lütfullah İçkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Güç spor from getting a goal against them. The Güç spor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GÖZTEPE's performance. The match ended with a win for GÖZTEPE.
