Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes into the match, Atıf Ulutan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erdoğan Yağan. Mersin FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atıf Ulutan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 18 minutes, Arif Ozan Duran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mersin FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Ozan Duran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bozova's Atıf Ulutan in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mersin FK's goalie prevented a goal. When Ahmet Ömür Özerdal came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Mersin FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Ömür Özerdal couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Ömür Özerdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Altay Dikmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erdoğan Yağan came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Bozova's Aykan Deveci. But to his dismay, Aykan Deveci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 39 played minutes Bozova got a freekick which was hit by İsa Miran. After taking down the ball on Mersin FK's corner Atabek Yazıcı fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Altay Dikmen quite easily take care of the ball. In the 45th minute Atıf Ulutan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdoğan Yağan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Mersin FK's Ahmet Ömür Özerdal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Altay Dikmen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Atıf Ulutan made the kick off in the second half. If Atıf Ulutan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Battal Seyyit Temircan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Ömür Özerdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altay Dikmen having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Bozova got a freekick which was hit by Umur İdrisoğlu. In the 62nd minute Aykan Deveci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdoğan Yağan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mersin FK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sergen Tuğcu hit a great ball. Mersin FK's Erdoğan Yağan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atıf Ulutan in the 66th minute of play. Bozova's Atıf Ulutan got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 minutes, Turgut Ciray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mersin FK and the Bozova players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Mersin FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bozova:s goal. The referee gave Bozova a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by İsa Miran, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mersin FK's Erdoğan Yağan. 3-1. The supporters of Mersin FK booed when Bozova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. İsa Miran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erdoğan Yağan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykan Deveci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Ömür Özerdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Altay Dikmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mersin FK's zone, Atıf Ulutan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erdoğan Yağan came out of the goal and Atıf Ulutan tried to chip the ball over his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bozova had won after a very even match.
