Abbas Sendur kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Mazhar Sayraç was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Cemisgezek's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mehmet Hakkı Cevher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sercan Haspolatlı, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Mazhar Sayraç's late challenge caught a Besni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abbas Sendur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hüseyin Cahit Tanrıverdi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cemisgezek's zone, Abbas Sendur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüseyin Cahit Tanrıverdi came out of the goal and Abbas Sendur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ulvi Kürşat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abbas Sendur took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hüseyin Cahit Tanrıverdi. Hüseyin Cahit Tanrıverdi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Sercan Haspolatlı made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Cemisgezek's goalkeeper Hüseyin Cahit Tanrıverdi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abbas Sendur. Abbas Sendur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cemisgezek's Hüseyin Cahit Tanrıverdi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Cemisgezek from getting a goal against them. Abbas Sendur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes into the game, Abbas Sendur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Besni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cemisgezek the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Sercan Haspolatlı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cemisgezek's supporters rose to their feet, but Sercan Haspolatlı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Hakkı Cevher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Kutay Filiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Besni's supporters rose to their feet, but Kutay Filiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hüseyin Cahit Tanrıverdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Besni left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cemisgezek.
