In the 6th match minute, Denizli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Ediz İncirli to maneuver through the defense. Ekrem Patlar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Göksel Demirsah having to interfere. Arda Göksel Demirsah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armağan Özalpsan in the 15th minute of play. Ekrem Patlar might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arda Göksel Demirsah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ekrem Patlar ran back to his position shaking his head. Arda Göksel Demirsah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armağan Özalpsan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ekrem Patlar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes, Mustafa Anıl Ankara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denizli SK and the Tokatspor Futbol Kulübü players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armağan Özalpsan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Göksel Demirsah having to interfere. The supporters of Tokatspor Futbol Kulübü booed when Denizli SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Anıl Ankara didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Armağan Özalpsan came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Tokatspor Futbol Kulübü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armağan Özalpsan couldn't finish the play. Mehmet Ediz İncirli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazmi Demirdelen having to interfere. If Armağan Özalpsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armağan Özalpsan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arda Göksel Demirsah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armağan Özalpsan in the 54th minute of play. Halit Dündaroğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Halit Dündaroğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Halit Dündaroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Battal Cerit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazmi Demirdelen having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Armağan Özalpsan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arda Göksel Demirsah. The goal made the score 0-3. After having played for 66 minutes, Armağan Özalpsan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tokatspor Futbol Kulübü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armağan Özalpsan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armağan Özalpsan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armağan Özalpsan in the 81st minute of play forced Denizli SK's goalkeeper Arda Göksel Demirsah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ekrem Patlar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tokatspor Futbol Kulübü walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
