Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Radomir Sikola started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Pehlivanköy getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Atalan Hacıfettahoğlu hit a great ball. In the 3rd match minute, DARDANELLES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Sikola to maneuver through the defense. Tolek Cipinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Radomir Sikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, DARDANELLES's Tolek Cipinski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şanver Çelebioğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Pehlivanköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ömer Rıza Akbatu to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Pehlivanköy's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Sikola came free, but Şanver Çelebioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa Hakan Semir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Şanver Çelebioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pehlivanköy getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Beyhan Karaca hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, DARDANELLES's goalkeeper Ayhan Sorgun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ömer Rıza Akbatu. Şanver Çelebioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Cipinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. DARDANELLES's Mustafa Hakan Semir got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Pehlivanköy's Ömer Rıza Akbatu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ayhan Sorgun. That made the score 1-0 after 45 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alptuğ Usum made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Sikola in the 54th minute of play forced Pehlivanköy's goalkeeper Şanver Çelebioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Radomir Sikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şanver Çelebioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korkutalp Turgay kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ayhan Sorgun came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Pehlivanköy's Beyhan Karaca. But to his dismay, Beyhan Karaca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Radomir Sikola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Şanver Çelebioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atalan Hacıfettahoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, DARDANELLES's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Rıza Akbatu came free, but Ayhan Sorgun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ayhan Sorgun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Rıza Akbatu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beyhan Karaca in the 92nd minute of play forced DARDANELLES's goalkeeper Ayhan Sorgun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ayhan Sorgun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Resul Beyzade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ayhan Sorgun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alptuğ Usum in the 96th minute of play. Pehlivanköy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
