Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İsmail Hakkı Ülmen in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zühtü Başat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İsmail Hakkı Ülmen in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zühtü Başat saved Karesi from getting behind. Tarkan Tahir scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zühtü Başat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
