Mustafa Hakan Özengin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 7th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ahmet Ömür Zühtü. Utkan Doğanlar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Hakan Özengin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Başar Talayhan in the 25th minute. After 27 minutes of play, FC Juventus's Başar Talayhan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Hakan Özengin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erenay Özaydın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reha Ağca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Gemerek SK's Mustafa Hakan Özengin got control of the ball when Başar Talayhan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute Arif Tugay Sabih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erenay Özaydın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Batur Cerit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Juventus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batur Cerit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Volkan Ataergin fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gemerek SK's protests and gave Volkan Ataergin a yellow card for diving instead. Volkan Ataergin kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Utkan Doğanlar came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FC Juventus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Utkan Doğanlar couldn't finish the play. Başar Talayhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Hakan Özengin having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Utkan Doğanlar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Reha Ağca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gemerek SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Reha Ağca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erenay Özaydın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Gemerek SK's Bora Yalın slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erenay Özaydın. That made the score 1-1 after 53 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Gemerek SK's Arif Tugay Sabih got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Utkan Doğanlar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Başar Talayhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Hakan Özengin having to interfere. Mustafa Hakan Özengin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Başar Talayhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute, Utkan Doğanlar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Arif Tugay Sabih came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Gemerek SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Tugay Sabih couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
