Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Basri İlhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KOSARSPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sakarya FC the free kick. Basri İlhan hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A long shot from Alperen Sabeddin in the 5th minute of play was well struck, but Yalçın Ersavaş made a really good save at the right post. İhsan Sözer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Çakabey Özçin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yalçın Ersavaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tevfik Boysel, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Yalçın Ersavaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tevfik Boysel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çakabey Özçin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İhsan Sözer went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 20 minutes, Batı Sahadettin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sakarya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batı Sahadettin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tevfik Boysel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yalçın Ersavaş having to interfere. Tevfik Boysel might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yalçın Ersavaş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tevfik Boysel ran back to his position shaking his head. Mehmet Nizam hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, KOSARSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayhan Yaban to maneuver through the defense. Tevfik Boysel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KOSARSPOR's Yalçın Ersavaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tevfik Boysel in the 42nd minute of play. After 46 played minutes Sakarya FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferhat Belge. The Sakarya FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KOSARSPOR were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nihat Tumbay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Çakabey Özçin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nihat Tumbay in the 52nd minute of play. Nihat Tumbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Çakabey Özçin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in KOSARSPOR's zone, Şükrü Bakırcıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yalçın Ersavaş came out of the goal and Şükrü Bakırcıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 57 minutes, İhsan Sözer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KOSARSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but İhsan Sözer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Batı Sahadettin fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sakarya FC's protests and gave Batı Sahadettin a yellow card for diving instead. Batı Sahadettin hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Nihat Tumbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Batı Sahadettin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Yalçın Ersavaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tevfik Boysel in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Tevfik Boysel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yalçın Ersavaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tevfik Boysel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yalçın Ersavaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şükrü Bakırcıoğlu in the 78th minute of play. When KOSARSPOR's Nihat Tumbay in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sakarya FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st minute, Esat İlsev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Tevfik Boysel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sakarya FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tevfik Boysel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yalçın Ersavaş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ersan Ulukut hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Şükrü Bakırcıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Yalçın Ersavaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tevfik Boysel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yalçın Ersavaş having to interfere. KOSARSPOR's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
