The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gencalp Canfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nihat Tumbay in the 4th minute of the match. After 5 minutes, İbrahim Efe Bakkalbaşıoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eskihisar and the KOSARSPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gencalp Canfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nihat Tumbay in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, İhsan Sözer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KOSARSPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eskihisar the free kick. In the 8th match minute, KOSARSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İhsan Sözer to maneuver through the defense. KOSARSPOR's Yalçın Ersavaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murat Ongunsu in the 12th minute of play. If İhsan Sözer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15thth minute of the game Nihat Tumbay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eskihisar's Gencalp Canfer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. İhsan Sözer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gencalp Canfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eskihisar's Gürcan Rıfat in 25 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Yalçın Ersavaş guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Murat Ongunsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murat Ongunsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yalçın Ersavaş having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gürcan Rıfat got free with Yalçın Ersavaş in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Eskihisar getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Vahdet Uzsan hit a great ball. İhsan Sözer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gencalp Canfer having to make a save. When İhsan Sözer came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the KOSARSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İhsan Sözer couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that İhsan Sözer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gencalp Canfer was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 39th minute Nihat Tumbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencalp Canfer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, İbrahim Efe Bakkalbaşıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, İhsan Sözer notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Eskihisar's Gencalp Canfer. Gencalp Canfer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Eskihisar getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Barlas Semi hit a great ball. Eskihisar's Gencalp Canfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nihat Tumbay in the 48th minute of play. The Eskihisar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KOSARSPOR were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gürcan Rıfat made a kick off. Nihat Tumbay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to KOSARSPOR getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bayhan Yaban hit a great ball. Sabri Sanat was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, Eskihisar's Gencalp Canfer got control of the ball when İhsan Sözer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barlas Semi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eskihisar's Gencalp Canfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nihat Tumbay in the 70th minute of play. If İhsan Sözer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esat İlsev's late challenge caught a Eskihisar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esat İlsev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Esat İlsev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Nihat Tumbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. KOSARSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Nihat Tumbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gencalp Canfer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gencalp Canfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nihat Tumbay in the 83rd minute of play. KOSARSPOR's Esat İlsev got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Esat İlsev off the ground. After 86 played minutes KOSARSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Esat İlsev. Gencalp Canfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayhan Yaban in the 91st minute of play. After some careless play in the KOSARSPOR defense, Gürcan Rıfat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yalçın Ersavaş. The KOSARSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yalçın Ersavaş should have stopped the shot. İhsan Sözer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gencalp Canfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded KOSARSPOR left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Eskihisar.
