In the 38th minute, Ali Cafer Adem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kula's Gencalp Yelmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tevfik Boysel in the 40th minute of play. Sakarya FC's Çakabey Özçin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyfettin Kutlu in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şükrü Bakırcıoğlu in the 91st minute of play forced Kula's goalkeeper Gencalp Yelmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ali Cafer Adem came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Kula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Cafer Adem couldn't finish the play. Sakarya FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kula for a fine match.
