In the 4th minute of the match KOSARSPOR got a corner. Oguzeli JK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mehmet Nizam ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Nihat Tumbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th match minute, Oguzeli JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kemalettin Tunçkılıç to maneuver through the defense. KOSARSPOR's Nihat Tumbay got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aktan Tükelay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İhsan Sözer in the 12th minute of play. Turabi Taze kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Nihat Tumbay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KOSARSPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oguzeli JK the free kick. Nihat Tumbay hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Yalçın Ersavaş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hatemi Emektar went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Aktan Tükelay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bayhan Yaban went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nihat Tumbay was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Oguzeli JK's goalkeeper Aktan Tükelay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İhsan Sözer. In the 57th minute Hatemi Emektar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yalçın Ersavaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Korkut Elmacıoğlu's late challenge caught a Oguzeli JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Korkut Elmacıoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. İhsan Sözer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Aktan Tükelay made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Oguzeli JK's Fedai Tayfun got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Hatemi Emektar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Oguzeli JK booed when KOSARSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esat İlsev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Vecdet Lebib managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oguzeli JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Vecdet Lebib was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yalçın Ersavaş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fedai Tayfun fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oguzeli JK's protests and gave Fedai Tayfun a yellow card for diving instead. Fedai Tayfun hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. KOSARSPOR's İhsan Sözer managed to work through Oguzeli JK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. İhsan Sözer dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Fedai Tayfun hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Nihat Tumbay took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Aktan Tükelay to make any attempt to save it. In the 77th minute Turabi Taze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yalçın Ersavaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vecdet Lebib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Yalçın Ersavaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nihat Tumbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Oguzeli JK's zone, İhsan Sözer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aktan Tükelay came out of the goal and İhsan Sözer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nihat Tumbay came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the KOSARSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nihat Tumbay couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Aktan Tükelay successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Oguzeli JK's Aktan Tükelay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nihat Tumbay in the 96th minute of play. The KOSARSPOR players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
